Got some really weird sugar cravings mid-day today, anyone still getting those? I'm ready to start feeling like myself again! I'm getting this sore throat thing going on right now. Need to drop by wholefoods tomorrow and buy some of that throat soothing tea (since I can't use honey and lemon on my own).
Still caffeine free-I refuse to drink black coffee for now too! No midterms yet-that's probably why, haha.
Meal 1: Sauteed zucchini and squash sticks (from Whole foods) in coconut oil. Topped with pasta sauce (brand: whole365). With two fried eggs on the side.
Meal 2: Had a quick/early lunch today. Ate the rest of my spaghetti squash (recipe here) that I packed up all nice and neat. I was totally missing the protein aspect and I was missing fats and so many other things. I was in a total rush! So I threw in like 6 cashews in my mouth... not the same as healthy fats and protein but it needed to be done.
Meal # 2.5: I ran back to the house to eat some leftover sauteed kale. I had sauteed some kale that was about to go bad with some minced garlic in coconut oil. (there's the fat!) Then I ate some more cashews-crap an addiction is forming!
Meal #3: Like I mentioned, when i'm running late from class (or in this case Organic Chemistry Lab) I just run by Plutos and get a salad instead of messing around with trying to cook out of frustration from coming home at 8pm. Plus, I was STARVING. I feel like I haven't eaten all day. I got more chicken in my salad this time... more than just 4 cubes. Was feeling a little sick towards the end though, I may have overdone my chicken capacity for the week. When I got home (~30min) I ate a whole avocado with like 5 celery sticks and a couple cashews. I'm going to bag them up tonight and stick them somewhere where no one can find them so I don't eat anymore cashews! No way, I worked this hard to cut my sugar cravings, coffee cravings only to find a new craving towards cashews.
Snack: Had some organic white raspberry tea from the local coffee shop again!
