Egg Month: #1 Perfect HardBoiled Eggs

I absolutely love love LOVE eggs! Did I say I LOVE them? I've decided to make October... EGG MONTH! I will be posting all my fabulous EGG recipes this month! I love eggs hardboiled, poached, deviled, scrambled, baked... I could go on for days. It's really fun for me to come up with new ways to cook eggs! Here are some tips i've accumulated for HARDBOILING! yummy yummy!
 Oven Cooking: Turn on oven to 325 deg (F) and place COLD eggs in muffin tins and place in oven for 25 minutes. When the time is up, quickly, place eggs in an ice bath. *TIP* inside your ice bath put some sea salt, this will help the shells to come off faster. 


 
 Regular Stove-top Boiling: I have one of those cool basket boiling concoctions But you can definitely still do this with a normal deep pan. Layer your eggs and add cold water as well as 1/2 tsp. baking soda. This is the "trick" to helping the shells come off. Bring water to a boil and turn stove off. Leave on stove for ~12 minutes and then add to ice water and start peeling! 
 Check this out: no green rims! PERFECTLY hardboiled eggs!!
